This initiative is designed to empower young grassroots agricultural entrepreneurs and smallholder farmers in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zambia by providing them with a platform to share experiences and advocate for sustainable farming practices.
Through this program, participants will collaborate to develop a Youth Demand Paper, which will be elevated by Ban Ki-moon, the 8th Secretary-General of the UN, in global climate advocacy efforts. Previous cohorts have had the opportunity to present their work at prestigious events such as the African Food System Forum and COP29 in Azerbaijan.
