Job Title: Supermarket Branch Manager
Location:Â Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Below are key responsilities of the Branch Manager:
- Oversees the daily management of the store
- Organises and supervises the work schedules and staff, especially during traffic and peak hours/seasons
- Conducts performance evaluations constructively
- Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
- Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
- Plans, organizes and coordinates sales, marketing, and budgeting.
- Uses company software to research, analyse, and track purchases.
- Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
- Places and rotates merchandise to attract positive attention from customers.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
- Plans, organizes and coordinates sales, marketing, and budgeting.
- Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.
- Collaborates with other managers to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies.
- Supervise, coach, train and assist employees to ensure productivity and offer feedback.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 5 years experience.
- The selected candidate must have proven experience working in a similar role in the supermarket sector.
Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
