The WASCAL’s International Master’s in Energy & Green Hydrogen for young West Africans, in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), is now accepting applications for its prestigious International Master’s Programme in Energy and Green Hydrogen (IMP-EGH). This programme is designed to equip the next generation of energy professionals in West Africa with the knowledge and skills required to tackle energy challenges related to climate change adaptation and resilience.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the WASCAL International Master’s Programme in Energy & Green Hydrogen, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of one of the 15 ECOWAS countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, or Togo.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline or engineering field.
- Have technical expertise in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields. A background in economics or statistics is an added advantage.
- Demonstrate good proficiency in English.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected students will receive full financial support, covering the following expenses:
- Monthly Stipend: 400 Euros per month
